Brass Sections

Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc. the proportions of zinc and copper can be varied to create a range of brasses with varying properties. To achieve a better machinability, usually 2-3 percent of lead is added to this alloy. Brass sections, that are extruded products, contain different cross sections.

Usage
Brass sections in Royal Brass are divided into two main categories of forging and grinding. The former category is used in hot forging and the latter is suitable for grindings. These products are normally used in water faucets and gas valves.

Dimensions
The brass sections are offered in different shapes such as square, hexagonal, round and so on and with varied sizes. The range of production capability is:
Round Rod: 2 to 80 mm
Square Rod: 4 to 25 mm
Hexagonal Section: 6 to 80 mm
Non-Geometric: According to request
